About Me

I'm Cyrus Gauger, a chemist based in the DC area. Chemistry has interested me since childhood, and it's taken me through my studies at Boston University into the work I do today. 

Since graduating, I've worked in downstream gene therapy manufacturing where I gained GMP/GDP experience that I now apply to my business:

Tanti Ricci, a hair care line built on gentle, effective shampoos and conditioners for wavy hair. It's been a hands-on way to apply lab-honed skills, including formulation chemistry, ingredient sourcing, and stability testing, outside a traditional research setting.

During my studies, I received the American Chemical Society DIC Undergraduate Award for Inorganic Chemistry, awarded to one student at each participating university for excellence in inorganic chemistry. I also earned the Mason Award for excellence in chemistry, from the Boston University Department of Chemistry.

I'm currently preparing to apply to graduate programs in chemistry, and I'm always glad to connect with others in the field
